WORLD MUSIC DUET Emam and Deepak Ram Classical, Devotional, Folk and Original Music from India and beyond Deepak Ram is a senior disciple of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, India's grand master of bansuri. Deepak has performed and conducted music workshops in Indian music at universities and community centers throughout South Africa (where he was born), England and the United States. Deepak and Emam present a delightful combination of rhythms and melodies from India and beyond. They offer performances in Indian Classical music as well as possibilities of bringing together influences from the Middle East, Africa and India to present original compositions of their own.
