Originally from Poland Yashoda was born with a natural disposition for singing.
In 1986, she visited Babaji's Ashram "Herakhan Vishva Maha Dham"
in the Himalayan foothills for the first time.
Since then, Yashoda has traveled to India on many occasions focusing on her spiritual practice and development
through Mantra Yoga, Karma Yoga and Kirtan (devotional singing).

Since 2001, she has been traveling in Europe and since 2003 in the USA, performing for Emam and Friends projects in:
Loenen (Holland), Rieferath (Germany), Gent (Belgium), Wroclaw (Poland), Fairfax (USA), Berkeley (USA), Mt. Shasta (USA),
Portland (USA), Eugene (USA), San Rafael (USA), San Jose (USA).

In 2003 Yashoda moved to California (USA). The recently released album
"Jai Ganesha" by Emam and Friends
and released in India by Music Today,
features Yashoda's vocals on five songs including two with her Polish lyrics
(Come to Poland and Carpe Diem).
Yashoda also has a passion for photography, videography
(Emam and Friends music-videos) and painting (Jai Ganesha - cover).
She holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Wroclaw University (Poland).
